Which do you prefer?
Are you a comic collector, or do you wait for the graphic novel release to get the whole story in one go?   affraid

And to clear up any confusion regarding terms...
Comics = single issue, usually monthly release
Graphic Novels = lots of issues in one paperback or hardback book

Graphic novels!

I don't get on staples, plus the big collected hardback library editions they have been doing for things like Hellboy are fantastic!

I get a mixture of both, the graphic novels normally turn out cheaper in the end I think but something about holding a comic gives a nice feeling

Is a trade paperback the same as a graphic novel?

I generally go for the Graphic Novels but on a couple of occasions that has bitten me.

Some of the Old Hellblazer volumes omit single issue stories that were excellent and in one or two cases, held critical plot details.

This will not be a popular opinion for a comic shop forum, but I basically buy my comics from Comixology, but due to lack of space in my house. :-(
In trades over comics, I buy trades :-D
